Trading in major mkts closed today for 'Ganpati immersion'

Mumbai, Sep 25 (UNI) Trading in major essential and non-essential commodity markets like sugar, edible-oil, cotton, bullion, metal and others remained officially closed here today on account of 'Ganpati immersion', traders said.

However, trading in Bombay and National Stock Exchanges, Forex and Call money markets are open as usual, brokers said.
