Situation in the communally tense Bhilwara township normal
Bhilwara, Sep 25 (UNI) The situation in Mandalgarh and Jahajpura area in the district following tension between two communities due to the bursting of crackers near a place of worship after India's thrilling Twenty20 cricket World Cup victory over Pakistan yesterdy is said to be normal today.
Police said tension was already in the air in the Mandalgarh area in aftermath of stone-pelting on a religious procession on Sunday.
Police said the tension intensified with some youths setting-off crackers near a place of worship, to celebrate the Indian cricket team's victory in the Twenty20 World Cup yesterday.
Police said after the leaders of the two communites met today and the situation in the area had retutned to normalcy.
