Several feared dead while 35 injured in road accident

Palanpur, Sep 25: Several persons were feared dead while over 35 injured when two buses collided near Trushuliya Ghat, some 13 km from Ambaji, yesterday night, sources said today .

The injured were shifted to civil hospitals at Ambaji Danta and Palanpur.

Three bodies have been recovered so far but none could be identified, according to Residential Collector J S Prajapati.

The relief work was badly affected due to rains and darkness on the hilly road.

Senior police and administrative officials had left for the spot.

The hilly roads to Ambaji have become crowded these days due to pedestrian journey to Ambaji Bhadrvipoonam Mela.
