Junagadh, Sep 25 (UNI) Senior BJP leader L K Advani today called on the UPA Government to take into consideration the feelings of Hindus before going ahead with the 'Ram Sethu' project.
Talking to mediapersons after a visit to the Somnath temple her Mr Advani said the Centre must adopt a positive approach towards the feelings of Hindus.
To a question on the forthcoming Vidhan Sabha polls and Mr Keshubhai Patel calling Modi 'Hitler', Mr Advani declined to reply.
Mr Advani arrived at Keshod by plane from Delhi at 0920 hrs with his wife Kamladevi and drove straight to the Somnath temple. At the airport he was received by a huge crowd.
Those present included District BJP Chief Thakersinh Jaria, Keshod MLA Madabhai Borija, Mayor of Junagadh Nagarpallika Jyotiben Vasani and Chairman of Junagadh Nagarpallika Standing Committee Pradipbhai Khimani.
Mr Advani visits the Somnath temple every year on the anniversary of his 'Ram Rathyatra', which he began on September 25, 1990. Except for once during the UP assembly polls, Mr Advani has been consistently coming to the shrine on the same date.
