SDM's Reader convicted for bribe

Bhopal, Sep 25 (UNI) A special court of Indore has sentenced one year rigorous imprisonment and a fine of Rs 1,000 to Saver Sub-Divisional Magistrate's Reader Datatreya Dongre for accepting bribe.

Official sources today said Dongre was caught redhanded by Lokayukta police while accepting bribe of Rs 250 on February 21, 2003. He had demanded the bribe for not issuing an arrest warrant and closure of a case registered at Kshipra police station in Indore.
