Nagaland govt to scan excess appointment
Kohima, Sep 25 (UNI) Nagaland government's committee to suggest measures to contain excess appointments at the government level will submit its report by October 15.
Official sources said here, the committee headed by state Additional Chief Secretary, Lalthara would investigate the issues pertaining to submission of an updated incumbency list of employees in all departments.
The committee would also look into the purchase of government vehicles, assess major projects implementation of schemes of farmers and utilisation of funds by various departments.
It would have discussions in the bi-monthly meeting of administrative heads and heads of departments.
Chief Secretary Lalhuma said that they would suggest measures to contain excess appointment and depending on its recommendation, the government would expected to have a grip on excess appointment.
On the update submission of incumbency lists of employees, Mr Lalhuma directed all the departments to submit it with detailed information.
