Diggy welcomes Rahul's elevation as GS

Bhopal, Sep 25 (UNI) Welcoming Amethi MP Rahul Gandhi being elevated to the post of party general secretary, Congress General Secretary and former Madhya Pradesh chief minister Digvijay Singh has said that it would inject fresh enthusiasm in the country's youth.

''The step has respected the sentiments of crores of party workers,'' he said in a statement.

Mr Singh's words were echoed by Leader of the Opposition in the Assembly Jamuna Devi and Congress state President Subhash Yadav.
