Chouhan describes Krishnamurthi's demise as irreparable loss

Bhopal, Sep 25 (UNI) Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan today expressed deep grief over the demise of former BJP President K Jana Krishnamurthy, who died at a private hospital in Chennai this morning.

In his condolence message, Mr Chouhan said Mr Krishnamurthy was skilled organiser and much expansion of the party happened during his tenure.

The Chief Minister said Mr Krishnamurthy served the nation for over four decades through politics.

Meanwhile, BJP leaders paid rich tributes to the departed leader and observed silence for two minutes at state party headquarters.

State BJP President Narendra Singh Tomar said Mr Krishnamurthy spread cultural nationalism in South India. The party constantly expanded under his able guidance.

His contribution as a legal expert would be always remembered.

BJP organisational general secretary Makhan Singh Chouhan, senior advocate Pyarelal Khandelwal and Giriraj Kishore also expressed deep sorrow over the demise of Mr Krishnamurthy and prayed for peace to the departed and strength to the bereaved.
