Chappan Bhog at 'Govardhan Ji Ki Talhatti'

Mathura, Sep 25 (UNI) Amid huge celebrations since last couple of days in 'Govardan ji ki Talhatti,' a scrumptious 'Chappan Bhog' was today organised here.

Lakhs of devotees thronged the holy city to pay obeisance to Lord Krishna.

'Chappan Bhog,' comprising different cuisines and prepared by expert cooks, was offered to 'Thakurji.' The Devotees were eager to have a glimpse of 'Kanhaiyya,' being installed in 'Sonemahal' (made of gold) and embeded with precious stones and pearls.

Member of the Giriraj Sewa Samiti, which organises the event, Deena Nath Agarwal said ''a huge crowd is congregating here to pay obeisance. The Amrit Abhishek of Thakurji was done yesterday with various dairy products, herbs and water from prominent rivers.'' UNI
