Campaign to 208 local bodies to end tomorrow morning

Bangalore, Sep 24 (UNI) The high pitch electioneering for the September 28 local body elections in which 15,000 candidates have entered fray in 208 local bodies in the state will come to an end tomorrow morning as per the State Election Commission's instructions.

Main politial parties like BJP, Congress and Janata Dal(S) leaders and workers today undertook hectic but colourful campaigning in various towns in the state.

Additional Director General of Police Shankar Bidri said that elaborate security arrangements had been made for the elections.
