Islamabad, Sep 25 (UNI) The All Parties Democratic Movement (APDM) will move the Supreme Court if the Election Commission accepted the nomination papers of President Pervez Musharraf, cricketer-turned-politician Imran Khan has said.

Mr Khan, chief of Pakistan Tahreek-e-Insaf, lauded the nomination of Justice (retd) Wajeehuddin Ahmad by Supreme Court Bar Association to challenge Gen Musharraf in the presidential poll.

He said the APDM would continue its struggle against the military ruler until he was ousted, the Daily Times reported.

He ruled out the imposition of emergency by the President and said such rumours were spread to pressure political parties.

The former Pakistan captain also denounced the arrest of scores of APDM leaders since the deportation of former prime minister Nawaz Sharif on September 10.
