AP BJP pays tribute to Pandit Upadhyaya

Hyderabad, Sep 25 (UNI) BJP State President Bandaru Dattatreya today said Pandit Deen Dayal Upadhyaya personified moral values, truth and simplicity.

Presiding over a meeting organised at the party headquarters here on the occasion of the 92nd birth anniversary of Pandit Upadhyaya, the BJP leader said he played an important role in the establishment of Jan Sangh and transformed it into a strong national party.

Pandit Upadhyaya strove to divert a society seeking material benefits to a path that would bestow eternal peace to mankind.

Stating that he continued to inspire his party ranks, Mr Dattatreya called upon the cadre to follow the path shown by the great leader.

BJP Leaders Baddam Bal Reddy, Indrasena Reddy, K Lakshman also participated.
