All India Kannada meet postponed to December

Bangalore, Sep 25 (UNI) All India Kannada meet slated to be held in Udupi from October 25 has been postponed to December 12 excess rainfall during this monsoon in the coastal region.

A statement by Kannada Sahitya Parishad said here today that the the decision to postpone the 74th conference was taken in consultation with District in charge Minister V S Acharya.

Roads and other communication networks were under repair following the heavy rains. The preparation works for the conference was however in progress, the note said.
