Sharif to return to Pakistan post Eid-ul-Fitr
Islamabad, Sep 23 (UNI) Former prime minister Nawaz Sharif will return to Pakistan after Eid-ul-Fitr, his party official said.
Addressing a press conference in Quetta, chairman Pakistan Muslim League (N) UK Basharat Ali Khan and Dr Saeed Elahi, a central leader of the party, said ''Nawaz Sharif would return home after Eid-ul-Fitr.'' They said that the former Prime Minister never bargained the country's interests, Geo TV reported.
Sharif was deported to Saudi Arabia within hours of returning to Pakistan from exile on September 10.
Basharat Ali Khan said that there is no ban on Nawaz Sharif's returning home as the Supreme Court affirmed his right to return.
He added that PML (N) would not accept General Pervez Musharraf as President for a second time, in or without uniform.
