One killed and militant arrested in Kashmir

Srinagar , Sep 23 (UNI) One person was killed, while police arrested a militant along with arms and ammunition in the Kashmir valley today, a police spokesman said.

He said police recovered a human skeleton from a willow nursery at Nengli at Sopore, about 55 km from here this morning.

He also said in the early hours, on specific information, police apprehended a militant Tariq Ahmad Bhat at village Saskhudan, in south Kashmir district of Anantnag.

One AK rifle, one magzine and 20 rounds of ammunition were recovered from his possession, he said.
