Mah govt misleading on website hacking: BJP

Mumbai, Sep 22 (UNI) Maharashtra BJP has alleged that the State Government was obscuring the truth and misleading the state over hacking of its own website.

In a release issued here BJP spokesman Madhav Bhandari said that it was a laughable claim by the state that the website was merely defaced and not hacked when the home page of the information technology department, that manages the site, is still unavailable.

Mr Bhandari said that while nabbing the accused for hacking the government's website it is also vital to investigate the reasons behind the attack on the website.
