BHPV posseses ASME certification

Visakhapatnam, Sep 22 (UNI) The Bharat Heavy Plants and Vessels Limited (BHPV) has got accreditation of U,U2 and S Stamps from American Society of Mechanical Engineers(ASME) for fabrication of Code Stamped Vessels.

A Company release here today said, BHPV had possessed these stamps since last 25 years. BHPV was one of the very few premier organisations in the country possessing such certifications, it said.

The release said the ASME designee Mr Terry O Connell had recommended the organisation for the renewal of above certification till November 2010.

This was a prestigious accreditation of quality system for any fabrication industry, the release said.

So far The BHPV had fabricated 126 Code Stamped Vessels for various industries in India and abroad.
