Assistant Sub Inspector booked under corruption charges

Fatehgarh Sahib, Sept 22 (UNI) Joga Singh, an Assistant Sub Inspector posted at Mandi Gobindgarh police station has been booked under various sections of Prevention of Corrupt Act.

The case was registered on the complaint of Harjit Singh, a resident of village Kalalmajra near Khanna, who owns a transport company at Mandi Gobindgarh.

Harjit Singh alleged that the ASI has demanded Rs 1,000 to settle his criminal case.

After registering the case, now Amloh DSP is investigating the matter.
