Arms made for Maoist seized, one arrested
Dehradun, Sep 22 (UNI) Special Task Force personnel today siezed countrymade guns meant for supply to Maoists in Nepal, and arrested a man in this connection at Khatima district of Uttarakhand.
According to SP (STF) Sanjay Kumar Gunjiyal, Murari Lal Sharma was arrested with seven country-made pistols, four half-assembled guns and equipment from illegal arms factory at Kunj Bagh in Khatima District.
Sharma confessed that the arms consignment was sought by Maoist's self-proclaimed Area Commander of Nepal and he had received Rs 8,000 in advance for it.
