Slight rain brings temperature down in city

Kolkata, Sep 21 (UNI) Rainfall has brought about a slight dip in the temperature here today.

Alipore Met officials here said the maximum temperature was recorded at 33.2 degree Celsius, while the minimum was recorded at 26.3 degree Celsius.

About 1.0 mm rainfall was recorded in the city.

As a result, the maximum relative humidity had dropped to 85 per cent.

The minimum humidity was pegged at 67 per cent.

Met office officials forecast that there was a possibility of a few spells of rain or thundershowers during the next 24 hours.

The sky will generally remain cloudy throughout the night, they said.
