Police arrests three on the attack on Selvi's house

Bangalore, Sep 21 (UNI) The city police have arrested three people, including a lawyer in connection with the attack on the residence of Ms Selvi, the daughter of Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M Karunanidhi here today.

Police said in a release that a special team investigating into the attack effected the arrets and also seized a two wheeler, said to have been used in the attack.

Among the arrested was Mr Rangaswamy, an advocate. Police claimed that he had provided shelter to the co-accused besides taking an active part in the crime. The other two arested persons have been identified as Murugan and Rajesh were. They were also allegedly involved in the incident in which a Tamil Nadu government bus was set on fire in which two passengers were burnt alive. While the former was a labourer by profession the latter a dealer in household article the release said.
