Nerolac to launch 'Style Icon Awards'

Chennai, Sep 21: Kansai Nerolac, the country's second largest paint company, will initiate the 'Nerolac Style Icon' awards to celebrate the work and design of architects and interior designers across the nation.

Through this event, Kansai Nerolac wants to provide a platform to recognise excellence among architecture students and professionals, a release said here today.

Participating candidates can register on 'www.nerolac.com' and send in their entries from across the country to Mumbai by September 25.

Industry stalwarts will be present to judge this prestigious award show.

Aspirants will have to register online www.nerolac.com, choose their category, download the line drawing and then after working them send the entries.

The entry should be accompanied by a 3-D model populated on a CD, completed submission form and a written brief (max 100 words) and a print out of the online registration.

Out of all the entries, approximately 36 architecture students and 24 professional architects will be chosen to face the Judges at Taj Lands End on October 6, the release added.
