Mediapersons face problems in filing reports
Tirumala, Andhra Pradesh, Sep 21 (UNI) Mediapersons who arrived here from various places for covering the nine-day Brahmotsavams faced hardships in sending reports to their offices from the Media Centre inaugurated by TTD Chairman B Karunaraka Reddy for the event due to computer problems.
A Mumbai-based private company had supplied six computers with internet facility for the benefit of the newspersons.
But they failed to fulfil the purpose due to low quality and performance.
According to sources, the computers installed at the media centre were at least a year old and had earlier been rejected by the TTD.
The TTD floated fresh tenders and finalised a vendor who failed provide the computers in time for the event, the sources claimed.
