JD (S) assures to make Bijapur a model city

Bijapur, Sep 21 (UNI) Janata Dal (S) has assured to make the historic city of Bijapur a model city in the state if it was voted to power in the local bodies elections sheduled for September 28.

President of the district unit of the party Mallikarjun Yendigeri releasing the party manifesto here today said that it would take action for beatification of the city and provide drinking water.

He said the party has fielded its candidates in almost all wards in the coming elections and urged the people to vote for his party.
