Intnl workshop on space technology begins at Hyd

Hyderabad, Sep 21 (UNI) The two-day United Nations-International Astronautical Federation (IAF) workshop on 'Space Technology - Applications' began at National Remote Sensing Agency (NRSA) centre here today.

NRSA Director K Radhakrishnan told newspersons that 40 space scientists from developing countries and 150 from the Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) would be participating in the workshop.

The use of space technology for achieving food security would be discussed in the first session, he added.
