EC directs Guj govt to pause recruitments for Election Assistant

New Delhi, Sep 21 (UNI) The Election Commission (EC) has directed the Gujarat Government to put on hold recruitments for the post of Election Assistant as the State is expected to go in for polls by the end of this year.

According to EC sources, the Commission has also directed the State Government to send a status report on the issue latest by Monday.
