Central team in Jharkhand to review progress

Ranchi, Sep 21 (UNI) A high level Central team, led by Cabinet Secretary K M Chandrashekhar, today called on Governor M M Jacob here.

The team will tomorrow review the progress of the state's various developmental schemes of all departmnts.

The meeting will held at Indian Institute of Coal Management.

Chief Secretary P P Sarma will lead the state team, which had prepared its report.

The team inluded Ms Renuka Vishwanathan (Secretary Co-ordination), Subhash Pani (Rural Development), T Nandkumar (Food and Civil Supply), Santa Trinayar (Welfare) and others.

Insurgency, roads, NREGA, rural development schemes, rural electrification, drinking water and sanitation, healthcare were some major issues to figure in tomorrow's review meeting.
