AP postal circle wins "Raj Bhasha" Award

Hyderabad, Sep 21 (UNI) Department of Official Language, Ministry of Home Affairs, Government of India has selected Office of Chief Postmaster General, Andhra Pradesh Circle for 'Raj Bhasha Award'.

The Office of the Chief Postmaster General, AP Circle had been placed in second position for implementation of official language from among all the Central Government offices in Southern Region, an official release said yesterday.

Ms Yesodhara Menon, Chief Postmaster General, AP Circle would receive the award from the Union Minister of State for Home Affairs Shri Prakash Jaiswal in a function to be held here soon, the release added.
