12 Wing Air Force hosts WAC Quiz Competition

Chandigarh, Sept 21 (UNI) As a run up to the Platinum Jubilee Air Force Day celebrations, scheduled to be held on October 8, this year, 12 Wing Air Force held a quiz competition here today in which 16 teams from various air force stations under the Western Air Command (WAC) participated.

Of the four finalists, the Hindon Air Force station team stood first with 210 points. The Hindon Air Force station team will now be representing WAC in the Inter Command Quiz Championship scheduled to be held in New Delhi on October 2-3.

The Pathankot station team stood second with 190 points and the Suratgarh station team was at the third spot with 175 points. At the fourth place was the Chandigarh Air Force station team with 150 points.

Air Force Wives Welfare Association (local) President Ms Sangeeta Sud awarded cash prizes and certificates to the winners.
