New Delhi, Sept 20 (UNI) A 20-year-old allegedly ''jumped to death'' before a Blueline bus in the Rafi Marg area of New Delhi district this afternoon.
The man, whose exact identity was yet to be ascertained, came under the rear wheels of a Blueline bus plying on route no 433 (Jantar Mantar to Central Workshop, Okhla), according to a senior police official.
''He had two identity 'cards' with him -- in the name of Sushant Kumar Sahu from Orissa (working in 'Gaurav International, Gurgaon') and a PAN card in the name of Sachin Davar -- which was making it difficult to ascertain his exact identity.'' It seems to be a case of suicide as he looked mentally disturbed and therefore might have jumped before the bus and come under its rear wheels, he said.
''The driver did not flee the spot and is yet to be arrested as prima facie there seems to be no fault of his.'' Investigations are continuing, he added.
