Select cotton slips again on bearish Guj advice

Mumbai, Sep 19 (UNI) Key cotton prices today suffered a further setback by Rs 200 per candy on thin spinners demand in view of discouraging advice from Gujarat, Karnataka and Punjab, traders at the East India Cotton Association said.

Following are the spot cotton rates per candy (350 kg) in Rupees: Bengal Desi: 15,400, V-797: 16,000, Karnataka Jayadhar: 15,800, V-1: 17,500, Punjab J-34: 18,700, NHH-44: 18,500, LRA: 19,200, H-4: 19,600, S-6-A grade: 20,100, Bunny/Brahma: 21,000, MCU-5: 21,400, DCH-32: 22,200, 35-MM: 32,100, Hedge Contract: 19,800.
