Scorching heat in Kolkata and adjoining areas

Kolkata, Sep 19 (UNI) Kolkatans today experienced hot and uncomfortable weather as it remained sunny throughout the day.

The Alipore Met office recorded a maximum temperature of 33.1 degree Celsius while the minimum was 26.8 degree Celsius, both one degree above normal.

The maximum relative humidity was pegged at 68 per cent.

The Met office forecasts a partly cloudy sky with one or two spells of rain or thunder showers in some areas.
