One arrested for attacking BJP leader

Bokaro, Sep 19 (UNI) Police arrested a person from Chas police station for attacking BJP state spokesperson Biranchi Narain in the district today.

Police said one Vijay Bahadur attacked the BJP leader at Ispat colony when the latter was returning after meeting party workers.

Mr Narain escaped unhurt as the pistol developed technical fault, police said adding two live cartridges and a pistol were recovered from him.
