Muslim Morcha delegation meets Buta Singh

Lucknow, Sep 19 (UNI) A delegation of the All India United Muslim Morcha today called upon National Commission for SC/ST Chairman Buta Singh.

The delegation led by 'Morcha' president Dr M A Siddiqui also handed over a memorandum to Dr Singh.

The memorandum alleged that Congress was only playing politics on the Sacchar Committee and Rangnath Mishra Committee reports and the Muslims were not getting their due.

Dr Siddiqui claimed that 15 lakh 'Morcha' activists had been put under 'Mission 341'. They would travel across the country and educate dalit Muslims for inclusion in the SC list.

The minority community would also be made aware about the value of their vote, he informed.

He warned that the Muslims could not be treated as a vote bank anymore and if Congress did not pay immediate attention to this fact, the party would suffer.
