MLA Surendra Rathore hospitalised

Jaipur, Sep 19 (UNI) Rebel BJP legislator Surendra Singh Rathore was admitted to the SMS Hospital here following chest pain.

Mr Rathore, representing the Ganganagar assembly segment was participating in the assembly proceeding, when he suddenly complained of chest pain.

He was rushed to the hospital and admitted to the intensive care unit(ICU) in the Medical ward of the hospital.

The doctors attending on him immediately conducted his electro cadiographs(ECGs) and other essential diagnostic investigations as a precautionary measure, hospital Medical Superintendent Dr Narpat Singh Shekhawat said.

The ECG reports were normal and there was nothing to worry, Dr Shekhawat said.

Mr Rathore and Prahlad Gunjal, Avtar Singh Bhadana and Ranbir Singh Guda today disrupted the proceeding of the Question Hour over Gujjar reservation issue and forced the speaker to impose at least two adjournments in a row over the issue.
