Mild quake shakes Meghalaya

Shillong, Sept 19: An earthquake of light intensity rocked the state capital of Meghalaya in the early hours today.

The tremor, measuring 4.0 magnitude on the Richter Scale, occurred at 0119 hours with an epicentre of 25.6 degree north 91.4 degree east of Shillong Central Seismological office at Upper Shillong, the officials told UNI
