Bangalore, Sep 19: Karnataka Deputy Chief Minister B S Yediyurappa today said no pro-Hindu organisation was involved in the bus burning incident, in which two persons were charred to death in the city last night. Speaking to newspersons at his residence here, he said stringent action would be taken against the vandalists and he had held talks with senior police officials in this regard.

''No pro-Hindu organisation was involved in this incident and it was possibly an act of vandalists. I have spoken to Home Minister M P Prakash in this regard and the culprits will be punished at the earliest,'' the BJP leader said.

Commenting on Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M Karunanidhi's controversial remarks on Lord Rama, he said Mr Karunanidhi, being such a highly acclaimed statesman, should have ''thought twice'' before making such a statement.
