Court refuses bail to Joint Director in DA case

Patna, Sep 19 (UNI) A special court today rejected the regular bail petition of Jhagru Ram, former Joint Director of Agriculture department in Kosi division in Saharsa district in a Dispropotionate Asset (DA) case.

Designated vigilance judge of Patna S K Panwar refused to release Mr Ram on bail after hearing both sides.

According to the charges, Mr Ram had amassed wealth of over Rs 3.16 lakh - disproportionate to his all known sources of income from 1965 to 1991.
