BSP worker killed in road accident

Lucknow, Sep 19: A Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) worker was crushed to death by a speeding jeep in Jaswant Nagar area of Etawah district today.

BSP worker Suraj Pal was hit by the vehicle, while he was going on his bicycle, police said.

Furious mob later blocked the Etwah highway and staged a protest.

However, the jam was lifted after senior police officials reached the spot.

A case had been registered and driver of the vehicle nabbed.
