APCC former chief's son admitted to hospital
Hyderabad, Sep 19 (UNI) Former Andhra Pradesh Congress Committee (APCC) President and MP K Keshava Rao's son Venkat, accused in the murder of his friend Prashant Reddy, was today admitted to the Osmania general hospital after he complained of chest pain.
Venkat, who was in CBCID custody in connection with the murder case, complained of chest pain to the CID officials this morning. He was immediately rushed to the hospital and was undergoing treatment there. The hospital authorities said Venkat's health was stable.
The CBCID was probing the murder case after the case was transferred to it by the State Government immediately after the accused was arrested.
Based on a complaint from Reddy's parents, police had booked murder case against Venkat. CID officials yesterday grilled Venkat at his house, where Prashant Reddy was allegedly shot dead.
