Two die in jeep-bus collision

Ambala, Sep 18 (UNI) Two people were killed and three injured in a jeep-bus collision on Ambala-Sahararnpur Road near Manaka Manaki village this evening.

The HSEB official jeep, in which an SDO Yoginder Singh was travelling with his family to reach Barara from Yamunanagar, was badly damaged when it had a head-on collision with a Haryana Roadways bus. Yoginder and the jeep driver died on the spot while his wife and two others were injured seriously. Yoginder was going to Barara for shopping in connection with the marriage of his daughter.

The bodies of the dead were extricated as they were badly cramped. The injured were rushed to a nearby private hospital, Radix, where their condition was stated to be serious.
