TCS' mission-critical engagement for LMRA in Bahrain

Bangalore, Sep 18 (UNI) Tata Consultancy Services (TCS), a leading IT services, business solutions and outsourcing organisation, today announced that it had executed a mission-critical engagement for the Labour Market Regulatory Authority (LMRA), an autonomous organisation established by the Kingdom of Bahrain to restructure labour market regulations through strategic reforms.

Bahrain's labour market reforms were the responsibility of the LMRA, which coordinated it through different organisations.

Additionally, the LMRA was also responsible for market intelligence, policy development, customer interface and fee collection as well as providing information and communication to stakeholders, TCS said in a release here.

TCS had developed and continues to support and enhance IT systems for the LMRA to enable it to offer transparent e-services to its customers.

It had also set up complex data integration and a composite mainframe system as well as software and application implementation, which included an Expat Management System (EMS) that automated the administrative processes managing the complete lifecycle of an expat from the entry to the exit.
