JK: Sub-inspector wounded in Doda encounter

Jammu, Sep 18: One Special Task Force officer of the Jammu and Kashmir has been wounded in an ongoing encounter between militants and security forces at Bhaderwah in Doda this morning, sources said.

A sub-inspector, identified as Shiv Kumar, had sustained wounds in the joint operation of police and Rashtriya Rifle, about two km from Bhaderwah town, sources added.

The encounter, which started at around 1030 hrs, was in progress till the last reports came in, said the sources.
