Short circuit at CM's chamber in Secretariat

Hyderabad, Sep 18 (UNI) Smoke emanating from one of the CFL downlights from the conference hall adjoining Chief Minister Y S Rajasekhara Reddy's chamber at the sixth floor of C block in the secretariat created panic here today.

Dr Reddy, who was in his chamber, noticed the smoke and informed his staff. The engineers rushed to the spot and immediately replaced the capacitor. The incident occurred due to the failure of a small capacitor. The technical staff also conducted thorough checks in all buildings in the secretariat premises, an official release said.
