Recruitment process to be completed after Ganeshotsav: SP

Nashik, Sep 18 (UNI) The recruitment of policemen for Nashik Rural Police will be completed soon after the ongoing Ganeshotsav festival, said Dr Nikhil Gupta, Superintendent of Police (Nashik rural police) today.

Addressing a news conference here, Dr Gupta said the process had been stalled as per the orders given by the Director General of Police's office to maintain status quo in the process.

The oral tests in the process had been postponed and a new time table for the tests will be announced in next one-two days, he said.

Meanwhile, according to the report filed by Deputy SP Subash Pagare regarding the chaos in the recruitment process, Special IGP P K Jain has suspended P K Mahale, Office Superintendent of the SP office.
