Motorola showcases mission critical solutions in tech summit

New Delhi, Sept 18 (UNI) Global leader in wireless communications solution with sales of 42.9 billion dollars in 2006, Motorola Inc today held its first 'Technology Summit' to showcase its latest technology innovations for communications in mission critical environments.

The summit demonstrates technologies for safety agencies, government customers and enterprises.

Motorola said these communications will enable intuitive and intelligent communications in real time, seamlessly, anywhere to help responders take faster, safer and smarter decisions.

In India, Jet Airways uses Motorola technology for instant ticketing and check-in while Reliance retail uses it for inventory purposes.

Also on display in the event, which will last till September 21, is the TETRA digital trunked radio system, wireless broadband solutions and mobile computing devices.
