Minority Rights Protection Rally on September 21

Kottayam, Sep 18 (UNI) A youth convention and Minority Rights Protection Rally under the auspices of the 'Yuvadeepthi' will be held here on September 21.

Talking to newspersons today, Yuvadeepthi leaders said Metropolitan Philipose Mar Chrysostom would inaugurate the convention.

Arch Bishop Mar Joseph Perumthottam, Mar Joseph Powathil and other leaders would address the convention, they said.

The first Ecumenical award of the KCYM would be presented to Dr Philipose Mar Chrysostom on the occasion.

More than 3,000 youth would participate in the rally to protest against the anti-minority stance of the LDF government, they said.
