Jodhaa Akbar set for a new year release
Mumbai, Sep 18 (UNI) Ashutosh Gowariker's much awaited epic romance ''Jodhaa Akbar'' is slated for a world-wide release on January 25, 2008.
The change of release date is due to the fact that ''Jodhaa Akbar'' has an extremely demanding post-production schedule, sources said.
''Jodhaa Akbar'' is a sixteenth century story about a marriage of alliance that gave birth to true love between the Mughal emperor, Jalaluddin Mohammad Akbar and the fiery young Rajput princess, Jodhaa.
With Hrithik Roshan as Akbar and Aishwarya Rai as Jodhaa, the film is produced by UTV Motion Pictures and Ashutosh Gowariker Productions.
This will be their second film together. Their on-screen pairing in last year's ''Dhoom 2'' was a huge success.
Aishwarya completed the shooting of the movie before embarking on her next English film 'Pink Panther'.
