Heavy rains lash Nashik

Nashik, Sep 18 (UNI) Heavy rains lashed the city and its adjoining areas today.

Some parts of the district also experienced heavy rains.

According to district administration sources, the Godavari river and its catchment areas here received 108 mm of rains till reports last came in. Alert has been sounded to people living on the banks of Godavari.

Parts of the city such as Nashik Road, Satpur, Deolali Camp, Bhagur and CIDCO areas received heavy rains.

Meanwhile, there were no reports of any damage, or casualty due to the rains.
