Hearing into govt doctors' private practice on Oct 5

Lucknow, Sep 18 (UNI) The Uttar Pradesh government today filed an affidavit before Lucknow Bench of the Allahabad High Court hearing a petition demanding a ban on private practice by Chartrapati Sahuji Maharaj Medical University doctors here.

The next hearing of the case would be on October 5.

The order was passed by a bench comprising Justices Pradeep Kant and Ranvijay Singh on a writ petition filed by Shiv Pratap Singh.

On behalf of Medical and Helath special secretary P K Singh and Medical Education Director General M C Sharma, Additional Advocate General Jaideep Narayan Mathur informer HC that action against 157 MPHS doctors and Chatrapati Sahuji Medical University 75 medicos.
